What is Hipcamp?
Hipcamp opened up a category of outdoor accommodation that previously had no marketplace: camping on private land. While national parks and established campgrounds have always been bookable, the enormous amount of private farmland, ranches, vineyards, and rural properties with beautiful camping potential was essentially inaccessible to travellers who did not know the owners personally. The Hipcamp platform serves both the landowners — called Hosts — who list camping spots, glamping accommodations, and farm stays and the travellers who discover and book them.
